Exclamation Recall on CS2000 electric chainsaws

I've just returned my electric chainsaw to SuperCheap Auto, after noticing a sign on the shop door saying that the "cutting mechanism could become live" (and presumably the operator could become dead)

The SuperCheap saw looked a lot like the various clones sold by BigW, Kmart, etc. etc., and there was some discussion a while back about the merits of electric chainsaws.

    So, check your chainsaws!

    Cheers,
    Andrew

I think I'd allways use an electric chainsaw thru an RCD breaker anyway, hopefully that would stop you becoming quite so dead.

But yes, a live chainsaw bar would be a bad thing.

On a positive note, it could fix the termite problem while cutting
