Kitchen Benchtop Fasteners
Did a search, but couldn't find any reference to those kitchen benchtop fasteners. They're designed to cinch together two adjoining portions of a benchtop and are installed on the underside of the top.
Does any member know where these can be purchased? Is there another method of doing the same thing as I think some kind of purpose made tool is required to drill the necessary holes for this hardware.

Don,
Wilson & Bradley on Bell street Preston has them. They specialise in kitchen fittings, well worth a visit if you are renovating your kitchen.
To use them all you need is a 35mm drill bit, the same as you use for the adjustable hinges, a chisel and a spanner to tighten them.
BTW I've got one if you want to look at it and can show you how to do it.

This is a bit late, but I had two delivered earlier this year from our friends over west , think they cost me $3.80 plus freight.
I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it

Look in the Yellow Pages for your local benchtop manufacturer and pop over there. They will have them coming out of their ears!
Cheers.
