Natural Hair Brushes
I'd like to purchase a few natural hair brushes.
Are there Australian suppliers offering a reasonable range/choice?
I am also open to suggestions about the type of brush(es) I should consider buying. Much appreciated

I really like ox hair brushes for oil paint and PU varnishes and PU based stains, synthetic bristle brushes don't even compare. Purdy (Ox-O) is my favorite brush brand, I assume that similar is available here.

I found Purdys Ox-O on amazon and have purchased 2 of each 1 1/2" - 2" and 3". Interestingly, some brushes availabl on amazon do not get shipped to Oz. Amazon only act as an "agent" on behalf on behalf of the seller who may not sell outside the US.
Anyhow, looking forward to these Purdys! Thanks Rob for confirming their quality!

If you find you like the Ox-O's you may want to consider stocking up. I've read that Purdy was acquired by a hedge fund a couple of years ago and that usually means that the more exotic items are on the chopping block. I buy them whenever I see a good price as I think that they'll be discontinued as have the stucco and the 5" and 6" wall brushes.
