So I was posting a reply and noticed this...

I've never used Trackback, but I think I know what it does. However... "already pinged"? And why that particular site?

It's not a site I've ever been to, so...?

It's a one-way link in to us from their site not a link out from us to them.

Almost any link in is a good link. There are thousands of them to go through looking for their original link in and it is most likely deleted from the holding file now So no way to delete it..

So long as it doesn't show on the forums anywhere as a link out it really isn't doing anything other than bringing more people to the forums.

We get links in to the forums from all over the world and they could be from a lot worse sites than that one, but wouldn't have a clue as many are in foreign languages. They are almost all to threads or posts on our site, that are in line with what is being discussed on their site or pointing out a particular subject, etc.

That one has been in that Not a Joke thread for a long time. Only been noticed or mentioned twice in all the time it's been there.
