Default Make the switch for safer surfing

Lately, surfing the internet has become a risky proposition with
Microsoft announcing an assortment patches and security fixes for all
    of it's products.

A few years ago, MS tried to make a monopoly on the web browser market
by integrating IE into the operating system. In doing so it removed a
layer of protection and made it's software so much more vulnerable to
viruses etc. Not only that IE uses ActiveX which is inherently insecure.

Are you sick of popups, your homepage being hijacked, bookmarks
getting mysteriously added, your search engine getting linked to some
obscure off-shore website or even new toolbars appearing within
    Internet Explorer?

I use and recommend Mozilla Firefox. It's Open-source software so it's
100% free you can get it from,...

I made the switch guys and it is heaps better. The pages seem to load quicker cause your not downloading all the nasties that came with IE. You don't loose IE from your PC so you can always switch back if you don't like FireFox.
But if you give it a go, give it a week or two before deciding.

    Regards,
    Kylie

    Kylie, No need to worry if you have stuffed SP2 into XP and everything else is up to date. Read here for the details;

    Mozilla does have some advantages.

Been using Mozilla for over a year now. I also like their mail client. Used Netscape 4.7x up until then.

Oh, and I really like the 'ctrl' + '+' thing to make text in a page bigger. Easy as.
    Semtex fixes all

Yes, they are recomending mozzies the size of fire foxes as an alternate to those pesky pop-up sharkes.
