The "Isle of Man TT" at the end of the month.
Anyone who straddles a bike to go around this track, truly has a pair

For clarity, even though I did the track - and it is indeed a very dangerous one, it was not as a competitor on the day.
It was a very wet race, that had to be cut short for safety concerns. The rain was actually taking chunks out of the fairings somewhat akin to bullet holes - and by this I mean clean bullet holes through the fairings!

Mind blowing!!!!
Not for me!!!
When I was a kid the radio was tuned, permanently to ABC. We would listen to the broadcasts as we ate breakfast.
Thinking back I guess they were recorded and edited excerpts. Triumphs and Nortons ruled in those days!
When teaching in Broken Hill I had a student whose family were motorbike nuts. I went round there a couple of times
and the father, a really great bloke, had tape recrdings of years worth of the TT races. It wasn't unusual to hear them
blaring out for hours on end!!!
