Am currently renovating the bathroom and have knocked out the wall between the bathroom and toilet to make it a bit bigger. Currently the cornices are still up and the bit of framing between them. How to I get the cornices down so I can cut them down to suit the new room shape and fill in the gaps (they appear to be glued) Also what would be the best method of filling in the gaps in the wall sheeting and ceiling where the wall used to be? Just cutting the sheeting and whacking it in the gap with some join tape and painting?

Thanks
