    Default Judgment Day is coming

I have just seen on the news that Judgment Day is coming .....

    From The Age online ....

Tomorrow will be cool and windy, with a chance of total apocalypse.

One of the buses used by the cult claims that "Jesus is Coming" and it reminded me of this ......

How do these latter day prophets explain the failures of their prophecies?

No that was the old apocalypse ..... the new one is tomorrow.
The guy behind tomorrow predicted the same thing 10 or so years ago ..... surprise nothing happened. They have managed to rake up millions of dollars worth of donations!

Whilst the apocalypse may be 21st May 2011 luckily thanks to my recent move to Adelaide our clocks are still in 1960 so we have a few good years left even if the worst happens tomorrow.

I've seen a similar image to the one in the first post - but the tagline was '..get a kleenex'....

At least we will never have to put up with them saying "I told you so" even if they do ever get it right.

So far so good in SA. The alarm did go off at 6:30am on a Saturday so that was a mini apocalypse. All eyes on NZ as I hear that it will not be instantaneous across the world but will roll around with the time zones.

It's all quite simple if you have faith. You make mistakes in the calculations - yoiu can get away with that a few times. Then again you can argue that something did happen but it happened somewhere else.
If all else fails, have a schism, change the name and become a mainstream church. After all the only difference I can see between a cult and a religion is the tax status.
    Cheers and blessings,

Does anyone remember the D-Generation spoof (in the era where EVERY film had a sequel)?

Jesus II - he's back, and he's not very happy.

Couldn't find it on youtube, but I did find this corker.
