Buffing Organoil
G'day to All. I'm a new member from Gingin WA. I have a question about finishing. When using Organoils Hard Burnishing oil the last stage is to power buff with lambs wool. My buffer has a range of 600-2000 rpm. As Im not sure of the theory behind the buffing can any one suggest what speed to use?

Hi,
Try asking the manufacturer (of the oil) perhaps.
Hope it helps,

I have used this product many times on tables and benches, the idea is to get it a bit warm so plenty of elbow grease is the go.

Start with the lower speed (I know the instructions don't specify what speed to use) and if you aren't getting the result you want, speed it up a bit. I probably wouldn't go right up to 2000 rpm, the lambswool might fall apart.
