A first for the WA wood show this year. $5 parking fee. Previous years was free.
The timber seemed be quite expensive this year - maybe it's just me getting fussy and stingy .

I went to the Perth show for the first time today. I was pretty impressed although not realising I couldn't pay for admission with a card and having to line up all over again didn't get me off to a good start. Maybe there was a sign but I didn't see it and maybe I rely on eft pos too much. I got a couple of nice user saws and a scribing gouge from HTPS. Was hoping to get a good look at a sorby pro grind but carbatecs stocks are stuck at the port. I was interested to see that Beyond Tools will be selling Laguna machinery. Stocked up on abranet.
    was a good morning
