Sanding stainless stain to smoother finish
Hi,
I purchased a mortice lock with pull handle kit.
The 600mm pull handle stainless stain isn't the best grade and is actually a bit rough to the touch. It's a brushed stainless steel finish.
As a result it seems to attract finger prints.
I want to sand it down for a nicer, shinier and smoother finish.
I was thinking of using a very fine grit sandpaper and some metal polish.
Any recommendations or tips?
What grade sandpaper?
