Infill Walls and bracing
I am going to build some infill walls, currently the roof is being held up by 300x65 lvl lintel and I am going to enclose the area. I am planning on using 90x45 mgp10 for walls.
Would you build the wall in situ put a top & bottom plate down cut studs, and noggins to suit 450 centres.
Would you worry about notching into the top and bottom plate? or just skew nail, I dont even know if I should worry about a top plate just nail to the lintel?
What bracing should I use speedbrace or flat strap with tensioners? The outside walls are weatherboard.
