Security camera recommendations
Hi I want to install some security cameras in my backyard, but I don’t know what will be good enough. I want it to be water resistant and to be able to connect to WiFi. Thanks you anyone who replies in advance and have a nice day

Hello luckily for you I have a nice guide that will help you to choose a decent waterproof camera for you! At some point it helped me as well, so probably will do the same for you https://geeklah.com/best-light-bulb-camera.html

Arlo from NetGear.
https://www.arlo.com/au/products/default.aspx
The free service for video capture storage has been more than sufficient .I've been using this for a few years and it's been reliable & brilliant.
You can buy at Officeworks or any of the usual online technology reseller suspects.

The issue with any chinese-based IP/cloud device is, well, the chinese cloud. Those buggers don't do privacy or human rights, so who knows what happens to your data. This may not be a concern for you, but it's something you should consider.
If money is not a major concern, then I'd get a Nest cam. They're pricey, but where they really get you is in the ongoing subscription for 'nest-aware', which you need to access all of the camera's features. They have however, recently introduced a cheaper AU$70 annual plan, but do note that you pay per camera (although subsequent cameras added to the plan are cheaper than the first). It adds up.
Nest make very good products (I have a couple of their smoke detectors, and they're very polite: "There is smoke in the hallway. The alarm may sound. The alarm is loud..."), and are now owned by Google. They will probably also peek at your data, but the French will occasionally fine them 50 million euros.
If not nest, then Arlo. The mounting system makes them very easy to steal if they're visible and in reach, so be careful. Arlo is hub-based so you'll be adding another wireless box to your network. They often come up on special, so keep an eye out.
