Unsociable social worker
My mate went into the welfare/social security office, marched up
to the counter and said, "Hi, I am here to pick up my benefits cheque
but hate doing it. I would prefer to be gainfully employed and be a
responsible member of the community".
The clerk replied, "You are in luck. Today we have a position available
as a chauffeur/bodyguard for a very wealthy man who has an
absolutely beautiful daughter. You will be issued with a Mercedes Benz
car, he will supply all of your clothes and you receive free meals.
In addition you have to escort his daughter on her various overseas
holidays. This is rather awkward to say, but as part of your duties you
are expected to satisfy her natural urges which I understand are
quite strong.
A three bedroom apartment, plasma TV, stereo, bar etc. will be located
above the garage for your personal use. The commencement salary
will be $200,000 per year.
My mate said, "You are kidding me!"
The clerk answered, "Well you started it - now nick off".Life is short ... smile while you still have teeth.

Not so Sociable Worker
It sounds like the 2 bricklayers having a quiet one after work at the pub.
Bricky 1 " A bloke dropped in to see me today about a job he had for me."
Bricky 2 "What sort of job?"
Bricky 1 " Oh you know one of those jobs"
Bricky 2 "What jobs?"
Bricky 1 " He wants me to lay 1500 bricks on his house that he is building next door to my place. He says he will pay me $5 a brick"
Bricky 2 " Gee thats Ok!When do you start?"
Bricky 1" Not."
Bricky 2" You're not? Why not? 5 Bucks a brick! Nobody pays that sort of
money"
Bricky 1 " They're face bricks"Just do it!
Kind regards Rod
