Filling screw holes in metal roof
I知 removing the old solar pool heating off my roof and need to fill approximately 20 screw holes.
I知 thinking of filling the holes with sikaflex, then inserting a larger diameter screw. The problem is, some of the holes have no timber roof beams underneath so not sure if it値l seal properly. Does anyone have any experience in this and can point me in the right direction?
Cheers,
Andy

Unless the holes are huge, I'd attach fender washers to the metal roof with large sheet-metal (self-tapping) screws, in addition to the sikaflex. The timber would be irrelevant, but could still be penetrated if there.

Depending on the hole size 4.8mm sealed rivets might be suitable with the sealer. Alternatively this tape https://www.bunnings.com.au/consolid...-tape_p1100467 works really well on metal rooves.
