    Default bathroom ventilation

Hi im thinking of putting one of these in a bathroom ventilation system consisting of whirlybird, flexible tubing and ceiling register to replace a mechanical vent that just vented into the roof cavity.Bathroom is about 3.5mx2.5m x 2.4 high.

What are peoples thoughts on its effectiveness?Only drawback i can think off is that its not going to expel steam as quickly as an electric one but it also provides 24hr ventilation as a benefit (as long as there is wind that is).
Here is the link to the product:

What if you're having a shower on a windless day?

We had our fan driven one vented out through the eves via the flexible tubing when re renovated. You can either buy an adaptor for the IXL ranges etc (the newer ones come with this as an option).
Another options I have seen used for ones that don't have an adaptor is to simply put a bucket over the outlet in the ceiling and fix the flixible tubing to this - works just like the adaptor and costs $1 (plus the flex tubing). Had a friend do this with great results - no more venting all that poisture to the roof cavity.
