    Default Returning to the bench

    Hi All,
My name is Stefan. I haven't picked up tools since I finished up as a cabinet maker over 25 years ago. I've been behind a desk that whole time (and still am from 9-5).
    Just building a modest new shed (4.5 x 3m)

And looking forward to building my workbench and tool storage to get used to the tools again. They may not be rusty but I am

    Cheers
    Stef

    Hi and welcome Stefan.

Nice shed. You will have to show use the build on the bench.

BTW the rust goes quickly when you start to enjoy the time and the smell of wood ahhhhhhhhh.....

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Stef".
There are members all around this Great Southern Land and across the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork & new shed..
    Cheers crowie

PS - Make sure you add extension plans to the current building as most of us find out too soon; room/space is a premium.
