Got bitten
My Table saw bit me in the knee last night at 10 pm but in a different sort of way. I had gone down to the garage to check something out and had to wriggle around some machines and furniture, In the process I bashed my left knee into the alluminium rail the fence slides on a MBS 300 Clone.I had the covers off while setting it up that afternoon.
I looked down and though dam that hurt and saw blood I had managed to give myself a 5cm long cut about 1cm deep that left a skin flap.
I dressed it with Steristrip telfa gauze and a crepe bandage as all the A&E,s were shut. North Shore hospital the public one would be a 5 hour wait.
Today I Went to see GP today for stitches but she says none needed as flap is all ready stuck together from the steristrips. They would have stitched it but my good dressing skills ( I am a theatre nurse ) and the 12 hour wait. means suturing would be very uncomfortable as the would would be pulled apart the plastic cover are now back on.
Cant even say I did it woodworking but the scar will look great"All that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing"
