I would like to hear from people who have used a home designer for their renovations. We are looking to either do major extensions to our existing house or sell and start from scratch. We really like the area and block we have but the house needs some major works to make its the way we want it.
My thoughts are to engage a home building designer to help us make our house into what we want and something unique but I have no idea who to contact for this.

We live on the central coast in nsw so someone local would be preferable.

If anyone could provide me with some feedback on using a designer and ideally some recommendations of people to engage it would be appreciated.
