    Default Dog kennel hacker

G'day I came across this site when looking for a bookcase design. Haven't found it yet but thought i'd introduce myself.
I started with wood in my dad's shed in B'ham uk made rabbit hutch doors and a money box Ended up in Mt gambier particle board factory so a laundry cupboard and bedside cupboards and computer desk came out of that.
Shifted to Adelaide many years later, found a dog so made a kennel that lasted 3 dogs but was too big and falling to bits (only nailed the thing together. Now a new puppy has come along so a new kennel made from packing cases pine and what looks to be a very light splintery pinkish wood used in old rooves, can't think of it name...... Anyway this one is slightly smaller (but still too big for the pup. Glued and screwed with a lapped plank roof stained with DWD intergrain and spa&deck finish. it looks good in my eye's anyway.
Next is a bookcase or rack to store the pile of half read books mounting up next to the bed, It needs to be stained slightly redish to match the bedroom furniture.
Then I came across THe New Fangled Bench. Now that looks like a great addition to the shed. I'm always struggling to hold timber while i plane it etc.
Anyway i'll enjoy browsing through tis forum , thanks in advance for all your advice and ideas.
