Trim down a roller Door
Is it possible to trim a roller door to fit a smaller opening. Not sure how much I need to trip it yet as I have not got it.
I have read Bazza's post on installing and see there is some valuable infor there.

Hi Fisherdroid.
That is something even I wouldn't attempt and I reckon I am pretty good at altering anything. The problem is that there are too many things you would have to do and not have the equipment to do it.
However a door much larger than the opening can usually fitted provided if it is too wide and you have the side room you just fit the door with more overlap on the sides.
If the door is too high you only need to cut the guides down to suit the opening and the extra height is just left on the roll when the door is pulled down.
I hope that helps. PM me if you need any extra advise

Gidday
That does help a lot.
I had been reading about the dangers of the springs. My problem is I have to fit two doors between concrete posts. I guess I will just watch the paper for some the right size as they are a pretty common item.
