laser cut of a spiral mesh
2D spiral action meshes together - YouTube
used mahogany plywood to cut these parts 60% power .60 speed took about 10 min for the whole project

i used a 100 watt at 60% power and .60 speed

What I really like about this is the way that it incorporates both a useful gear and also the spiral shell of an ammomite.
