Default any advice on this lathe.

    Hello everyone.

Looking at buying this lathe. Only got this picture so far. It was used in hip replacement department in PA hospital. So I doubt it has seen a lot of work. Bloke wants around 750 for it. I don't know what it comes with yet.
What's a ball park on this things if it was just bear lathe.

    Any help appreciated.

$750 or ono would be a reasonable price for an A model lathe.
Any extras that it comes with would be a bonus.
Standard items you would hope it comes with are 3 and 4 jaw chuck, tailstock chuck, drive plate for turning between centres, thread chasing dial, live centre and dead centre,4 way tool post.
It dosent really matter if it dosent come with the extras listed as all parts are readily available.
A 9" C model without the Quick Change Gearbox would sell close to or even higher than $750 and that may not come with extras either.
