Finishing a waney edged bowl
I've got a nice piece of sheoak burl that's just begging to be turned with a natural edge. However, having never turned a natural edge bowl before, I thought I should ask:
What is the best finish to use in order to protect and seal the bark? Also, should the bark be prepared in any way prior to finishing?
Thanks,

Think I will let Neil, or someone else answer that for ya Tristan. Although I would probably say for any sort of turning ya really couldn't go past Neil's products, and I am sure he will fill ya in on the best to use and the dos and donts..
Cheers
