Newbie from Melbourne
Hi everyone,
Total Woodwork newb here ( don't even have tools yet! ). Just recently bought a house, and for the first time in my 38 years I'm going to have a Garage & Workshop ( and no way is a car going in the garage - far too much other good stuff can go in there! ). This house purchase has coincided with some sudden deep seated newfound urge to get into woodworking and making stuff no idea where it came from, but i'm hooked and i haven't even built anything yet! ( and the idea of buying tools and fitting out the workshop is equally exciting).
My first few projects will hopefully be simple furniture to start with ( Workbench for the garage, TV unit, Maybe a simple desk too, or some bedside cabinets ). The ultimate goal is to become good enough, and confident enough to build a new kitchen at some stage in the next year or two as the new place needs it, and I'd love to build it!
I'm going to be based Inner West of Melbourne, so if there are others out that way always keen to hear from you!
Thanks in advance everyone
Seb

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
Wasn't able to make the show @ Jeffs Shed this weekend as I was down at Rye
I'll be sure to soak up all the knowledge here, and then start posting as the projects get started
Cheers
