Hi from Highett
Hey all,
Trav here, new member from Highett, Vic.
Just getting started with woodwork. Lived in apartments until recently and never had time or space to get started. Now I've still got no time, but I do have a one car garage that I intend to slowly take over...
Think woodworking will be a good balance to my real life job, different skillsets and a much more productive hobby than sitting in front of a screen.
Will be starting small - boxes etc. hoping to work my way up to building some furniture for our place and who knows where from there!
Cheers,
Trav

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Trav".
There are a heap of members in Melbourne as well as across the rest of Victoria..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [work in progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers, crowie

Welcome to the forum. Very different skill set from sitting in front of a screen. Some may argue that wood working is more fun. I am on the fence until I retire from work.
