Question Sandblasting to strip old finish

I have quickie job to do to make some extra storage space.

Have acquired a couple of pine ""entertainment"" units that have seen better days.
I want to strip them and was wondering if sandblasting might be the quickest way to do this.

You could use sand blasting, you would need to take it very slow and easy as soon as the sand touches the timber it will apply a texture to it. Personaly I would use a chemical stripper

Try soda-blasting, supposed to give a better finish.

    Thumbs up

    Thanks fellas for the replies.

I've decide against it anyway. I don't have a compreesor
and I'm certainly not prepared to spend the money needed
to buy a machine with the capacity to do the job.

I some research and found out lots in interesting things I didn't know!
