Rebating timber walls for shower tray
Hi all. I'm curious to know how one would rebate the bottom plate and studa to accept a shower tray in an existing wall?
The Marbeltrend install guide shows an option for water resistant 10mm plasterboard to finish on top of the tile trim on the shower tray as an option to avoid checking the bottom plate and studs. This doesn't seem like the best option. Maybe it's fine, though.
Any suggestions on how to install?
Cheers,
