Can you dry polyurethane faster in the microwave?

Not having done it - my first thoughts
As microwave ovens require moisture - as the timber heats and the moisture is lost it could break through the finish.
The temperature of the finish would get too high and bubble or cook off the surface as the moisture is released.
Would you perhaps be better using a conventional oven set at less than 100 - would take longer but would be easier to control.
I know I couldn't hurry the drying of one of my finishes using a heat gun.
Just some thoughts, interested to see if someone has done it.
Regards,
Bob
