Hi There
Hi Everyone
I still haven't navigated fully through the forum yet but it seemed like the right place to learn what I need to know.
I am very new to working with wood and my experience so far has been sanding and varnishing a set of drawers - I don't think I did an awesome job but I enjoyed it from the perspective of recycling, cost and doing something different.
i don't think that I will get into doing much more than renovating items (i have two other projects on the go) but I do want to do it well.
Any pointers to the best place to start learning on here are welcome! I also look forward to seeing what others produce.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum, Scout.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers crowie

Welcome to the forum.
As mention look around and ask questions, if you have a particular project then ask questions on that project.
