Excel bifolds - cheaper than the rest..?
Hey guys,
I've done ALOT of hunting around for bifold doors for a new house I am building... I've been looking at 4 and 5 leaf systems for a 3.6m wide opening.
After ringing every shop in Melbourne, I have found a hardware supplier who can supply Excel bifold doors (made to order) for:
$1818 (2340h x 900w) for the 4 leaf system (ie. 4 x 900w bifold leafs)
or
$2131 (2340h x 720w) for the 5 leaf system (ie. 5 x 720w bifold leafs)
The doors come equipped with 6.38mm clear glazed glass, triumph heavy duty tracks, top/bottom pivots, wheels and are manufactured out of Victorian Ash.
Most other places are quoting around the 4-5k mark (at least) for the same kind of door, although I am not sure of the tracks etc. they are using.
I'm always a bit skeptical when I see things half the price of every else, has anyone used/seen Excel doors, triumph tracks etc.? The only disadvantage here is the doors are not on display and we'll have to install them ourselves (we'll have no problem installing these).
