I have downloaded the span tables and made a few of these as lintels. Much cheaper than a big beam if you have bits of 7mm ply and 90*45 timber left over.
Are there any tables for box beams using bigger plywood?
My local hardware has 12mm Structural plywood.
I was thinking that a box beam using 12mm ply should be stronger but my GoogleFoo (alternative spelling GoogleFu ) isn't working
