Hi, FYI and a question?

Microplane make 3 grades of stainless steel sandpaper. (Fine 180-200; Medium 100-120; Coarse 40-60 grit). They are 5" Hook & Loop disc sanders, sell for about $13 odd (USD). Great for flat surface sanding!

Carbatec stock the Microplane Surform replacement blades. Maybe you could order the sanding discs from them.

Actually there are 2 types, one for hand sanding in 'sheets' and the other for ROS machines. I think there was an earlier thread here somewhere & it was reported that the ROS sheets tended to clog quickly.

Yeah, they say that on their US site. The current types of ROS discs are only for use on hardwood. The new design will do softwood as well.
