Moving the garage
I have been roped into drawing up plans for my brothers house changes, most of it is simple. A new fence, closing the porch plus a deck at the front, a verandah with a deck out the back and a new carport; all basic things.
My problem is that he wants to MOVE AN EXISTING GARAGE 8m, it’s made of wooden frame (pine) and colourbond: I cannot find the way it is fastened to the concrete.
Have anyone dealt with the same problem and how did you fix the problem??

If you can't see any bolts etc holding it to the concerete its most likely nailed down with slab nails. Drill a 1/4" hole immediately next to each nail and with a nailpunch knock the heads sideways into the hole,
Then try lifting with pinchbar/crowbar.

A friend of moved his garage like this:
1. install a light stud frame at just below shoulder height all the way around garage.
2. put on Barbie/Beer on a friday arvo.
3. Get 20 people to all lift at the same time and walk garage to new venue.
he did have a few photos, looked pretty funny actually.
Cheers
