WOODWORKING QUIZ for 2 Sept. 04
Good Evening Friends,
When gluing up rails and stiles on doors with a beveled edge, how can you do it with out damaging the sharp edge with the clamps?

Well, you could either glue the doors up and then bevel the edges or you could machine up some blocks/pads that fit onto your clamps and match the bevel.

Mick you are 100% correct as the blocks would protect the stiles from clamping damage.

Cliff,
thanks for the concern, just been very busy with work and fire brigade stuff, saving people from their own stupidity, doing hazard reduction burns and currently trying to get Ergon to cooperate with (and maybe even contribute to) our efforts.
