<div>I am endeavouring to build a vermin proof chook shed. I've started with a 400mm (2 rows) of cement block on which the stud walls of the structure will sit. I intend to run some flashing on top of the block wall under the sole plate of the wall with a lip to the outside and bent down at 45° to act as a further deterrent to anything attempting to climb or slither up the wall.
