    Default A 3Maple coffee table

    A coffee table of torrefied maple with drawer carcase and fronts of rock maple and drawer sides Queensland maple. Finish is oil and wax. This is the first of two and will be an Xmas present for good friends, Ross.

    It looks beautiful and I like the jumbo DT's. But fig.1 looks like there is a bow in the top. Is that my imagination??

    I'd say what your seeing is the curved front edge that appears as a bow due to to camera angle.

    Very nice work there wattycoo. Very nice indeed.

    Optical illusion i think. Looks like the top has a curved front making it appear like a bow in the first pic.

    Great job Ross. The recipients will be stoked i'm sure.

    Yes Rob, just my average photography skills plus a wide angle lens. The top is flat but the front edge is curved to expose the right hand corner of the drawer carcass, Ross
