Default Oak Framed Arm Chair Falling Apart

I have darling three year old twins.

For the past 18 months they have been using the arms of my traditional style leather rehupholstered 1950's oak armchairs as trampolines.

Unfortunately, one of the arms has now given under the strain and is flapping in the wind.

I have untacked the leather from the frame and can see the springs and webbing inside the chair but can't fathom out how to tighten or reattach the arm back to the body of the chair.

    Any tips?

Can you post a pic. Without seeing it I'd say the whole thing would have to be stripped down but if I can see I might be more help.

    Cheers
