The Power of The Dark Side
Today I was chatting away to somebody on the phone and next thing I know I'm in their workshop, up to my ankles in shavings, surrounded by LA planes, Lie Nielsens, Disstons and  worst of all, a Japanese Dovetail saw in my hand....It was like I'd been taken over by an alien ( I wasn't wearing my foily). The whole thing is a blurr...I feel violated...now I know what they mean about the lure of the Dark side. I feel so guilty..What am I to do??

Go out to the shed right now and put some timber through the biggest and nastiest machine you've got. Watch the power of a real tool.

I wasn't feeling well when I gave you that phone number. You called me on Saturday morning when I was in recovery mode after Friday night's retirement festivities. I know I said that I had taken it easy but the truth is I was disoriented and my Schwartz wasn't working properly.
