Hey all

I currently reside in Brisbane and will being doing the big move down to Melbourne at the end of the year!

i am going down there in a few days to check around for accommodation and importantly for work and would like some advice on where abouts i should start looking for work?

Now i know melbourne is HUGE, and ill be living in he Cheltenham, Highett, Mentone, Brighton area so if i could get some direction from any melbourners that know of any construction around these areas?

even if you suggest something totally far away thats ok, some ideas are beter then none.

nother question i have is the types of cards i need to trade as a carpenter in VIC? atm here oin QLD i have a ABN , BLUE card, Public liability and Income protection, some jobsites require these 4 as a minimum.
