shellac under spray lacquer ?
I have read here somewhere about people using a coat of shellac under other finishes, specifically to enhance the grain. I"m wondering whether it can be used under nitrocellulose lacquer. I'm concerned that when I use spray lacquer, though its quick, easy and feels 'quality', it does leave things looking a bit flat.
cheers

No problems at all with using shellac under nitro.
Cheers,
Frank.
