Default WOODWORKING QUIZ for 12 July 04

    Good Evening Friends,
There are times in construction of a wall where a window is not necessary but, you still want light to show through, and decide to use glass block.

How are glass block made that will be strong and emit light after installation?

Default WOODWORKING QUIZ ANSWER for 12 July 04

    Good Evening Bob,
Good display and great article, however it didn't state how the bolock were made that I read.

Glass block are made by fusing two or more pieces together creating an air space between.

    Thank you for your support.

    Yes it did.

Classic glass blocks are made of two sections of pressed glass fused together with a partial vacuum between them.
