G'Day from the Gold Coast
Hey all,
I've lived on the Gold Coast all 18 years of my life, and the nearest I've come to woodwork so far is a few bits and bobs in the workshop at my Highschool. In recent months I've been thinking about doing a few projects but lack a shed/garage - or any other space where I can build a permanent set-up for any kind of craft (yep, dad's not quite been the same since he left his 3 car garage at the old house).
I know nothing about woodworking, but I'm very keen on Japanese style craftsmanship, and the minimal use of power tools. I've joined to try and get some ideas on how to go about making a set up that can be moved, and packed away - as well as develop my knowledge generally.
Cheers,
Daniel

Welcome aboard Daniel; it's always nice to see young folk showing an interest in woodwork
Reality is no background music.
Cheers John
