Cedar of Lebanon
Milled this from a large chunk of Cedar of Lebanon (Cedrus Libani) that i picked up at the Cooroy woodshow a few years ago..the grain has a brilliant, silky lustre, and cuts like cheese..i think this tree was sourced from Richmond(Qld),...so for those folk that have never seen it before, here it is....lovely stuff

cedar of lebanon
Hi there,
Any pics of the bark? I finally took down the trunk of a tree I did a month or so ago, (was waiting on a decent sized hiab) of what I believe to be cedar of lebanon. It certainly has smell to it and from the rings I believe it to be around 40 yrs old. Will get some pics. Have 2 4mt logs with the base dia being about 700mm. Boards or slabs, what does anyone suggest?

Apologies to mods if this is the wrong place but I have available a fair few small dia limbs (max 150) that i couldn't bring myself to put through the chipper.
