    Default Going shopping

    I am going shopping tomorrow.

“I would like to have a 15” thicknesser and a 6” jointer please”

“Do you want a drill press with that?”

    “Yes please”

By next week, I will have a tablesaw, bandsaw, DC, thinknesser, jointer and drill press all sitting in the box.

I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER!!

Plus the goodies from Canada, wow July is going to be a huge month. Maybe I should have a garage warming party.

So, Wongo, when are you going to buy some timber???

And definitely go for at least 8" on the jointer.

Jeez it's fun spending other people's money

OK Zed, your perseverance has won my heart. You are right I will buy the 8” instead of the 6”.

But I think I will wait for the WW show in Sydney. I am hoping to get a good deal.

Wongo isn't getting carried away...this is no impulse purchase

Now, if he were to suddenly decide that he also needs a wide belt sander and a morticer.....

Come to think of it Wongo, have you thought about buying a wide belt sander & a morticer at the same time...you should be able to hit them for a pretty good discount.

    Wongo

I don't know how you can go out and buy a few machines at once.

I have enough trouble deciding on one machine at a time. There is so much out there to choose from.

I can understand the thicknesser and the drill press, but why do you need a jointer to build boats?

Well, there is that. I'm sure I could FIND a use. Dammit, I'll have to go buy one now ... and I was going to be good this week ... until the weekend.

    Cheers
