Hi from Sydney
Hi everyone. My name's Corey. I've been reading a lot on this site and it looks like the place to be for all things woodwork.
I woke up one day recently and decided I needed to buy a mitre saw, then a couple of planes, then some chisels, a vice . . . Haven't done woodwork since highschool 25 years ago when I got an E for effort and an E for achievement, so what the hell I'm doing now I really dont know. I am, however going to build a bench soon, and I've got heaps of ideas from you guys on this site, so thanks for all your experience placed in one spot, it's awesome to see so many guys into it.
I am a very experienced photographer, artist, and medium experienced novel writer, so I am fairly creative and hence look forward to using the tools that I've been strangely amassing. All in all I might drop it next month or keep at it forever, but whatever happens I hope that I can be part of this community.
Cheers, Corey.

Welcome Corey. As you have already discovered it is quite a large site and very diverse.
