And now my biggest blackwood.
I decided to drop another tree that died awhile ago. This time a blackwood About 7-800 at the base and 450-500 at the head which is about 8m. as with the stringy in my other post.......any advice on what to get out of it would be appreciated.

So I washed the roots out to see what's there. No real surprises there. Bog standard really. Now what I need is an extension for the mill to take out full length boards I wonder if I've got enough stuff floating around to make something?

Split a small 110mm dia root to have a look.....nice colour

Good to see you are still keeping busy
. Wrong time of year to be milling this stuff up, it loves to crack, so better mill it up quick and get it under cover some where.
