Carving for 16 year olds
I have 16 year old twins in Year 11. One in particular is interested in wood carving as a hobby, the other is interested in Violin making as a possible career direction. Can someone suggest which woods are good for beginner carvers to work with, what is the best type of small project to build skills and what clubs are there around Ferntree Gully area where they could meet other carvers and learn from them? Many thanks guys...
