    Default Gidday from Brisbane

Hi all, looking forward to some great discussion on the boards. Well my experience with wood is, on the scale of 1 to 10 about a 2.....................lol

I am married with two great kids and for the past 23 years I have been serving in the ADF, in all this time we lived in Defence Housing and in Jan 2010 I left the service and in March 2010 we bought our first home.

Now in Defence housing you are not allowed to do anything at all, so I am a late started to getting into the handyman way. I have started getting all sorts of tools and will be looking for advice on my first project which is building a work bench.

    Cheers

    Dave

    Thumbs up

G'day Dave and welcome to the asylum.

Have a look in the workbench section in Woodworking - General. All sorts obench ideas and types in there. Some are simple and smaller and they work their way up to Groggy's half tonne , but beautiful, beast.
