I have this 2m x 4m wooden shed that I want to dedicate as a finishing room.

The idea is to add a sink and shelving at one end and then leave the rest of the available space for finishing. Given the maximum width of 2000mm, is it important to have an assembly/finishing bench that is accessible from all four sides? I guess if so then mine could only be about 1000mm wide.

I'm thinking of making up a torsion box assembly bench top to be mounted on trestles but perhaps the thickness will mess with clamps? I probably will have height adjustable trestles so I can use the bench top for assembly and finishing because I imagine the necessary height is different?

Comments please.
